WHAT IS ELECTRO-ACUSCOPE AND MYOPULSE THERAPY?

The Electro-Acuscope and Electro-Myopulse Therapy System is a non-invasive modality that utilizes micro-current which is naturally produced in the patients body.

The Electro-Acuscope and Electro-Myopulse are FDA approved instruments. When used properly, the Therapy System has been deemed safe and effective for neuromuscular, musculoskeletal conditions, non-invasive pain management and accelerated healing of 50% or more.

This Therapy System is also unique in the fact that this modality utilizes a Biofeedback System that is specifically calibrated to animal tissue. This Biofeedback System consists of a Biofeedback Loop that takes approximately 5 milliseconds to complete, computer circuitry that is pre-programmed with cellular function norms of animal tissue, and an infinitely variable waveform that constantly changes throughout treatment.

Having the Biofeedback System (And properly utilizing the modality) ensures that the patient cannot be overstimulated due to the computer circuitry consistently monitoring the tissue and only sending the amount of current that is needed at that time.

The Electro-Acuscope

The Acuscope normalizes the electrical circuitry in the nerves through the Central Nervous System (The central nervous system is made up of the brain and spinal cord: The brain controls how we think, learn, move, and feel. The spinal cord carries messages back and forth between the brain and the nerves that run throughout the body) and through the Peripheral Nervous System (The peripheral nervous system consists of the nerves that branch out from the brain and spinal cord. These nerves form the communication network between the CNS and the body parts). In addition, the current model - 80T, also normalizes the Autonomic Nervous System (The autonomic nervous system is a component of the peripheral nervous system that regulates involuntary physiologic processes including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration and digestion).

The Acuscope utilizes square wave form, which has been scientifically proven to be most efficient when accessing the central nervous system.

The Acuscope is capable of normalizing the level of current through the nervous system and creates indirect access to muscles, tendons, ligaments and bony areas.

The Acuscope gives a digital and audible readout of the cellular function between two probes or electrodes. This helps to guide the therapist to the areas of cellular dysfunction and build a plan to best help each individual. The Electro-Myopulse

The Myopulse is the companion instrument to the Acuscope and is programmed to normalize the electro-magnetic field that surrounds the soft and connective tissues.

This instrument has direct access to all soft and connective tissues: muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and periosteum.

This instrument utilizes a sloped waveform that has been scientifically proven to be most effective in accessing soft and connective tissue.

The effect of the Myopulse is relaxation of the muscle fibers which achieve improvement of the blood flow by relieving the constriction within blood vessels.

How Many Days Should Treatments Be Continued?

Minimum Treatment Guidelines:

    •    1 to 6 treatments: Approximately 25% of patients achieve stability or resolution.

    •    6 to 12 treatments: About 50% of patients respond within this range.

    •    12 to 24 treatments: The remaining 25% may achieve stability or resolution within this time.

Optimizing Treatment Results:

To achieve the best outcomes, it’s ideal to retreat before or as symptoms begin to return. If treatments are limited to once per week, patients and clinicians can still expect positive results, although the course of therapy may take longer.

Monitoring Progress:

Patients should carefully track how long the benefits of each session last. This feedback helps the clinician adjust treatment plans effectively:

    •    If the first 1–3 treatments provide only a few hours of relief, the treatment approach may need to be more aggressive.

    •    If they provide 24 hours or more of relief, the remaining therapy will likely require fewer sessions.

Adjusting Treatment Parameters:

Treatment intensity can be adjusted to fit each individual’s needs. The Electro-Acuscope’s feedback-guided design ensures that patients cannot be overtreated, making it safe to increase one or more parameters when necessary—especially in complex or resistant cases.
